
Open Studio
Open Studio is a chance to create in a shared working environment. Bring a creative project and supplies from home to use or share, or create using what supplies are available. Instruction is not provided, but skills sharing among artists is always welcome.

Room # MV2006 (upstairs), Lakehead University’s Music and Visual Arts Buildling
Participation is drop-in.
Typically anywhere from 6-12 individuals join us.
Transportation and Parking:
City busses stop at the University, and metered parking is available near by for $1.50 / hour. Parking passes are also available at the Pay and Display machine for the same hourly rate.
To locate the William H. Buset Music and Visual Arts Building, view the campus map. It is located off the Agora Circle, near the bike shed.
Participation is free and open to artists and makers (age 18+) who self identify as having lived experience. Filling out a formal membership form or disclosing your experience is not required.
By participating in our programs, you agree to follow our Community Agreement, outlined in our membership handbook.
Open Studio is drop-in registration is not required.

We are fragrance free. Scented products often contain toxic ingredients which affect people in our community that suffer from Multiple Chemical Sensitivities or Environmental Illnesses. Fragrances can have mild to debilitating effects on individuals—often lasting days. We ask that you refrain from using products that are scented.
Many Collective members live with compromised immune systems and/or chronic illness. So please do not attend our programs if you are experiencing any cold/flu symptoms. Masks are optional and provided.
